Diethylenetriamine (DETA)

Diethylenetriamine or (DETA) and also known as 2,2' Iminodi(ethylamine) is an organic compound. It is a clear, colorless, single-component grade with ammonia-like odor. DETA is a common curing agent for epoxy resins in epoxy adhesives and other thermosets. It also functions as a corrosion inhibitor, surfactant, mineral processing aid and chelating agent. It is suitable for polyamide resins and wet strength resins. It is used as a polymer and resin modifier. It can also be used in composites.
